It all started in 2004 when long time team mates Beatrice Danis and Janos Kurko leaded the successful revitalization of a notorious Romania brand with a 125 years heritage, namely: Kandia.
The effectiveness of their project paid off in market share gained by Kandia was their biggest reward and a solid proof they are highly proficient so other clients would trust them to turn a name into a valuable asset.
BEATRICE DANIS is now Managing Partner of BrandTailors. She ended up her career in advertising industry after reaching Account Director position with McCann Erickson. In 10 years of advertising experience she had the opportunity of working for more than 100 brands both in local and international agencies – JWT, Grafitt/BBDO, Lowe/GGK, Tempo Advertising and McCann Erickson. After a complete tour of a wide range of industries (beverages, retail, telecom, food, insurance, cosmetic, real estate etc) her dedication and commitment for integrated communication process paid off in 2005 when she was awarded with a Golden Effie for launching Kandia and once again in 2006 being awarded with a Golden Effie for ROM and a Silver Effie for Kandia.
Since she is managing BrandTailors operations, Beatrice got involved in more that 50 branding exercises, teaming up not only with marketing professionals but also with HR managers, sales representatives, R&D specialists, advertising people etc. She is always looking for identifying the real client issue and she is absolutely confident with sharing her situation analysis conclusions, which have nothing to do with branding. |

For she is continuously interested in management strategy that goes beyond branding, Beatrice can anytime hold insightful conversations about distribution, product development, etc, and put branding issues into a bigger picture.
JANOS KURKO is the Creative Director of BrandTailors and a founding partner. He ended up his career in advertising industry after reaching Head of Design position with McCann Erickson. Janos spent 10 years in advertising working as an Art Director and Graphic Designer with DDB and McCann Erickson for both international and local accounts. During his advertising career he has been part of multi-awarded team in Ad’Or, Golden Drum & Effie Festivals.
Since he is responsible for the creative process in BrandTailors, Janos supervised all our branding projects and designed identity and packaging for most of them. He is completely fond of product branding fact that led to being considered by our clients the best packaging designer in Romania. Janos has an addictive passion for cooking and for food in general, so if you are responsible for a food brand you will instantly fall in love with him. Another reason to love him would be his proficient opinion on food and beverage production processes and his commitment to effectiveness. |
